
They were trained last week to beef up security and ensure free traffic flow. The Women's African Cup of Nations football tournament, AFCON, begins in Cameroon on November 19, 2016, with the host cities being Yaounde and Limbe. In order to ensure that the competition passes off peacefully, the National Gendarmerie last week trained 700 men and women to help beef up security and ensure safe traveling for those involved or interested in the tournament.
