A girl by name Kanji Novella who happens to be a student in one of the higher institutes of learning in the nation's capital, Yaounde has been brutally raped and murdered in cold blood at the Ngoaekelle neighborhood, Yaounde, administrative headquarter of Cameroon. Kanji Novella who hails from Njipluh in Ndu, Donga Mantung division of the North West region was raped and murdered by yet to be identified hoodlums.
The heinous crime was committed on her on July, 2, 2016. Raw information says that Novella's murder might have resulted from the fact that she might have recognized the rapist. With fear of facing the law, the inhumane guy decided to terminate the life of the damsel.
At the time of discovery, she had a gas pipe that was forced into her mouth and tied. Her hands were also tied. The criminals behind this awful crime are still at large but an investigation has been opened to track them down.
Yaounde has been a hub of such outrageous killings of late with the most terrific being the murder cases at Nkolbisson.
