Wednesday November 30, 2016 was another dark day for the forces of law and order in Bamenda as they met with the inhabitants of the region mostly commercial motor riders. This stiff resistance that later led to the blocking of major road junctions in the City was as a result of the arrest of one Nji Benjamin who took part in the November, 21 coffin Protest against the bad road network in the region’s head quarter, Bamenda. It was thanks to the timely intervention of the National Chairman of the Social Democratic Front party and the Governor of the North West Region, Adolph Lele L’afrique who ordered for the immediate release of the boy.
