War against Boko Haram: France Supplies Cameroon with Tactical Vehicles and Fully Equipped Transport Trucks

France has just made another donation to Cameroon for the fight against the terrorist sect Boko Haram. These are ten French tactical vehicles and five transport trucks, one of which is fully equipped. Gilles Thibault, the French Ambassador to Cameroon officially handed over the donation on November 29, 2016 to Joseph Beti Assomo, Minister of Defense (MINDEF). Vehicles equipped with armaments and transmission equipment was accompanied by precision rifles, helmets and bulletproof vests. The estimated value of this support for the special units of the Cameroonian army engaged at the front is 430 million FCFA.
