Southwest region: Headmaster Brutally Murdered, Traditional Ruler Kidnapped


The head teacher of Government School Etam 1 in Kumba, chief town of Meme division in the Southwest region of Cameroon has been found dead.
The shocking discovery happened in the afternoon hours of Wednesday February 21, 2018 behind a classroom, TCR gathered from sources.
According to the wife of the headmaster that was murdered in cold blood, her husband whose name TCR got as Patrick Ejolle left his home and told her and the rest of the family that he was off for an administrative meeting even though we did not get where the meeting was to hold.
The wife added that she and the children then recommended that Patrick uses a train to the meeting ground; a proposal which he deceased did not consider but rather chose to go by a motorbike.
It was on top of the motorbike that Patrick was raided by assailants that kidnapped him together with the rider of the bike. 

The wife added that after abducting her husband, the abductors gave her some instructions to follow but that a few moments after, her husband was discovered dead.
TCR gathered that the bike rider who was kidnapped alongside the school official succeeded to run away from the evils of the captors. The wife of the deceased spoke to radio Balafon in Kumba that also reported the story.
The family members of the headmaster of Government School Etam 1 in Kumba immediately solicited the services of the D.O of Etam who also responded by sending a team of military personnel to the crime scene to bring back the lifeless body of the man.
We learnt that before his death, Patrick had been threatened severally by unknown persons via leaflets. The school he administered was burnt on January 24, 2018 causing severe disaster to his office.
Reports from the Southwest region also say that, the traditional leader of Ekilliwindi, named Ndiba Collins has been kidnapped by alleged Ambazonians since 20 February 2018 and that there ha been no news about his whereabouts ever since then.
