A South African woman has allegedly died of internal injuries after their pastor put a very large speaker on top of her in an attempt to demonstrate God's power, reports Christian Daily. On Sunday, Pastor Lethebo Rabalango of the Mount Zion General Assembly in Polokwane hosted a night of worship where he taught about demonstrating God's power. The pastor highlighted Jesus' ability to walk on water and claimed that he could also do anything through his faith.
Pastor Rabalango sought to demonstrate God's power by promising a female congregant that she would feel absolutely no pain if he put a heavy speaker on top of her. He asked the girl to lie down and instructed ushers to put a big speaker on her stomach. The pastor then climbed on top of the speaker, causing the girl to suffocate and pass out.
When the pastor got off, and they removed the speaker, the girl could not get up. The girl complained of a broken rib so she was taken to the hospital, but she reportedly died of internal lung injuries. The pastor was said to have blamed the girl and accused her of having little faith for she could not withstand a task he referred to as a simple act of faith.
