A 17-year-old murder suspect has from the New Bell prison in
Douala. the economic capital of Cameroon.The suspect is believed to have
used a cutter to escape the Douala on Sunday, November 13. 2016.
The suspect had been in detention since July 13,2016. According to
reports from press outlets in Douala, Pierre Y. age 17, is charged
with co-firing with firearms in the case of the assassination of a
Chinese national in Douala Cameroon.
The young inmate who is accused of being a member of the gang who
murdered the Chinese businessman in Douala used a ramp on the newly
built staircase to get to the roof of the prison complex.Warning shots
from gaurds on duty failed to curb the young prisoner's escape.Police
and prison officials in Douala are calling on the general public to come
up with information that will lead to his re-arrest.

approach him but instead contact any nearest Police or Gendarme station.
