CAMEROON:Governor for West Region Denies Fire at Bafoussam Airport

Augustine Awa Fonka,the governor of the Western region has denied information circulating precisely on social media that  a CAMAIR-CO MA60 plane  caught fire on the 21st of October ,2016, at the  BAFOUSSAM Airport.
In a press release by the Civil Administrator ,alafnet.com gathered the said plane belonging to QC272(camair-co)which left Douala at 9:10am for Baffousam Friday ,was diverted to Yaounde because of bad weathers conditions cause by heavy rains which fell in Baffousam on the 20th to the early hours of the 21st of October,2016.
According to the govenor,The Plane finally landed  at the Baffousam -Bamougum airport at 12:25 carrying on-board it’s 33 passengers.At 12 :56 pm, the same MA60 left Baffousam for Yaounde Nsimalen airport carrying 17 passengers.
After which it returned to Baffousam with 46 passengers at 15:15pm.Before finally departing to Douala with 49 passengers from Baffoussam after concluding it task for the day.
