Nothing Shall Disturb Elections in Cameroon this Year-Issa Tchiroma


The minister of communication who doubles as government’s spokesperson, Issa Tchiroma Bakary, has categorically stated that, “nothing will be able to disrupt elections in Cameroon this year.”
He was speaking I the North region of the country where he has been visiting since Monday February 12, 2018. During he stay in Garoua, Tchiroma visited local radio stations to reassure the population about the upcoming elections which coincide with the social tensions in the country.
He declared that his party, Cameroon National Salvation Front (CNSF), shall be part of the upcoming senatorial elections.
“Nothing will be able to disrupt elections this year in Cameroon. I am convinced in my capacity as spokesperson for the Government, that all the security measures have been taken and that other measures will be taken to ensure that the elections take place in peace in all the ten regions,” Issa Tchiroma said.

He further stated that, “Areas likely to be disturbed by armed gangs are under the control of our security forces.”
According to our sources, the Minister of Communication has planned to organize in the coming days, a mega meeting in Garoua to thank Paul Biya for all he has done for the northern region.
“The Head of State has just given Garoua a faculty of medicine, we have a reference hospital, hotels, roads, the airport, and hospitals will be rehabilitated to in view of this Africa Cup of Nations (CAN). As elite of Garoua, as a collaborator of the Head of State, as National President of the CNSF, I would like to thank the President for making Garoua, the leading wagon of the train of development and of the emergence of Cameroon. A mega meeting will be organized to say thank you,” Tchiroma revealed.
