But during the operation of the police, Patrick Woukeng, the chief of the band, succeeded to flee. Further investigations by members of the search brigade resulted in the last gangster, the gang leader, being arrested in early March. According to our sources, Patrick Woukeng was arrested while he was in possession of a double-barreled homemade weapon, ammunition and a hammer. He was immediately taken into custody and was taken to the military court on Tuesday.
