Former Minister of Arts and Culture accuses her older brothers of forgery and declares that she has never witnessed a judgment of heredity.
Tension is brewing between Cameroon’s one time Minister of Culture Ama Tutu Muna and her brothers.
According to reports, this tension stems from disagreement that is tearing them apart in connection with the property that was left behind by their father, Solomon Tandeng Muna.
TCR has gathered that the ex culture minister who happens to be the youngest of the children of Muna, is accusing her brothers of forgery and the misappropriation of their late father’s property, reports the French language newspaper, La Nouvelle Expression of Tuesday March 27, 2018.
For this, Ama Muna sued her brothers to court and hearing reportedly began last Monday March 26 in Yaoundé.
According to the newspaper, the youngest daughter of the former prime minister of Cameroon accuses her elders of wanting to confiscate the property bequeathed to them by their father. In his plea, the prosecution demands that the defense begin by justifying the origin of the heredity document.
There are reports that Ama also wants to unravel the mystery of this succession.
According to the eldest of the children of Solomon Tandeng Muna, Bernard Muna, “the heredity judgment had already taken place, I believe, more than ten years ago. It happened in a court hearing in Douala in which my sister took part,” he said.
There are indications that apart from Ama Muna, all of Muna’s children are against the division of their late father’s properties.
“We kept everything that our father left us in one entity. Our intention was to have all this property go into the Tandeng Muna Foundation, but our sister thinks it should be divided. That's why she wants us to revise the judgment of heredity to distribute the goods between us,” regrets Bernard Muna in an interview with a newspaper recently.
The court hearing that opened just last Monday March 26, was postponed to April 23, 2018. FHM
