Star-Vibes: Unidentified Person Slaps Fally Ipupa in Yaoundé

Arrived in Cameroon for a special concert on the stage of the Yaounde Sports Palace scheduled for Saturday, May 12, 2018, the jury of the reality TV show "Africa has an incredible talent," also had an appointment with some fans in a snack bar in Yaoundé - Ekoumdoum, May 11 for a first special performance.
If fans were very happy to commune with the author of "Tokooos" in a rather good-natured setting and to see him up close, there was one who probably had a grudge against the artiste. While Fally scrolls on the snack carpet amidst the cries of a group of hysterical fans, he will later receive a big slap from an unknown person.

At press time on Tuesday, the perpetrator of the cruel act had yet to be identified nor the reasons for his act.
“The person who slapped Fally Ipupa yesterday at Chatel was sitting next to me for the whole evening. He told me he was going to do this ... I thought he was joking and when he walked in to mount the stage, he did just that and I was overwhelmed ... He did it ! Hit twice. Even Fally was lost,” said a witness to the scene.
In reaction to the slap, Fally Ipupa reportedly said, A man slapped me when I was walking into a room in Cameroon.
Instead of taking my defense, people were laughing, so I went back to the car, I left the place.
If I was the artist who slapped a fan in this way, the information would go around the world.
Often when some African artistes succeed and then they move to Europe to pursue their careers, the same “gifleurs” say that these artistes are fleeing from their origins.
Treat your artistes well.
If you don't treat them well, your American stars or Europeans won't want to come here to make you happy here in Africa because they will treat you wild, just because you slap your own artistes.
And it's Africa that loses. We're better than that.
The Saturday concert held at the Yaoundé sports complex and also featured many other artistes, mostly local.
