One of the owners of the vehicles said he was lucky. Working at a garage near the scene of the incident, he told our correspondent in Douala that he was getting ready to move with his vehicle when he saw the wall collapse. His car suffered the most damage.
The collapsed wall was a watch fence that framed the site. At the time we took to press, none of the car owners proofed ready to assume responsibility of the repairs of their car with the owner of the construction site currently living out of the country.
