A truck has hit a student that had just rounded off his 2018 BEPC exams to death.
According to persons close to the story, everyone watched the lifeless body of the promising student with dismay especially given that Yvan as she was called, will never know the results of her efforts as the mad truck curtailed her life on earth.
Very happy to have finished the 2018 BEPC exams, Yvan’s hopes of celebrating success of the said with her family and friends, were ended by the truck.
Amidst the enthusiasm that she had finished her end of year certificate exams, Yvan was brutally crushed on Friday, June 08 in Batoufam, a locality in the West Region.
According to the testimonies of eyewitnesses, a truck which obviously had a problem of dysfunction of the braking system brutally ran into the young student at a place called Chefferie Batoufam.
She was conveyed to the emergency district hospital of this locality, where she succumbed to her multiple wounds a few hours later.
The driver of the truck who got threatened by a crowd, melted into thin air. An investigation has been opened to track down the fugitive as the family of the girl remains inconsolable for the huge lost.
