TCR has learnt from credible sources that one of Cameroon’s cutting edge attackers. Clinton Njie, risks heavy suspension from the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT).
According to our sources, the Indomitable Lions’ striker is accused of indecent behavior at the last camping of the national team in France during the friendly against Burkina Faso.
The African champion present as the rest of the national team in France for the friendly match against Burkina-Faso, is accused of arriving 24 hours late at the camping ground (May 25 instead of 24). However, the finalist of the last UEFA Cup did not only stop at this fault.
Considering the request for explanation served by the body that runs the Cameroonian football, the player "according to a statement from the hotel, brought in two girls to his hotel room and that they were evicted from the room because of induced nuisances,” the anonymous hotel official reported.
It is feared that the country’s football managing FA, could dish out heavy sanctions to the ace striker especially given that the Lions went ahead to lose the game against the Burkinabe.
