A student has been found dead in the West region of Cameroon, just a day after she rounded off with the writing of her Baccalaureate exams.
According to reports, the deceased, Samira Abenkou, left their family house on June 2, 2018 to catch fun with her friends but died in the process.
According to Le Messager newspaper of Tuesday June 12, that reported the story, after medical examinations, the examiner confirmed that the girl aged 18 years, was raped and tortured to death and continued to rule out any allegations that the girl might have taken away her own life.
The dead body of 18 year old Abenkou, was reportedly discovered at a football field, behind a goal post precisely, by some young guys that had gone there to play football.
TCR learnt that more and more bizarre happenings were recorded after this year’s session of the baccalaureate exams as young people engaged in all sorts of excesses such as heavy consumption of alcohol, drugs and sexual activities.
A similar incident occurred on the night of Saturday, June 9 breaking Sunday June 10 in Batoufam, still in the West region of Cameroon.
According to a source, Dieudonné Sergio Moukéna, a 17-year-old student in Government High School Batufam, went to a post-examination party with his classmates after jumping out of the window of his family home, leaving his grandma all alone in the house.
During the festivities, Dieudonné Sergio Moukéna, and his friends decided to change the venue of the razzle. It was during their migration to a new site that the boy was crushed to death by the wheels of a truck. The tragedy happened while he was crossing the road.
