Huge Fire Ravages Muyuka Market

 

There is agony at the Muyuka market in the Southwest region, as four stores were recently ravaged by a huge fire.

TCR gathered from sources that, the inferno started at about 6:30pm on Saturday August 5, 2017 while all business persons in that market had closed.

They only got news about the disaster while at their various homes. The huge fire caused untold confusion in the Muyuka town as residents engaged efforts to douse the flames. However, frantic efforts to put out the fire ended in futility as untold damage was recorded.

The exact cause of the fire had not been established at press time but it is alleged that, it might have originated from an electrical short circuit. However, police have opened a probe into the mishap so as to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.

No human casualty was recorded in the accident. The exact damage caused by the inferno is still been assessed meanwhile at press time, affected persons were out of reach.
