Bafoussam: Kidnapped Sisters Finally Rejoin Family One Month after

2 siblings kidnapped about a month ago have rejoined their family. Ornelle and Morgane Kamdem were kidnapped at their parents' home during a kidnapping masterminded by yet to be identified thugs.

According to sources, the two sisters were kidnapped at a neihgbourhood called Tougang 4, in Bafoussam in the West region during a robbery attack in their home.

They were released Sunday March 4, 2018.

While recounting what happened during their period in captivity, they said they were kept in a room while wearing blindfold. They added that they ate twice in a day and that they seldom bathed with their blindfold on.

According to them, throughout the period of captivity, they could hardly tell if it was day or night because they kept wearing the blindfold.

However, they were not in anyway abused according to them.

We learnt that they were transported to their home on a motorbike from the entrance of the city of Bafoussam but that the kids did not see who transported them because they were still wearing their blindfold.

And until the time of release, the kids still could not tell who their abductors are, our source said.

According to some newspaper reports, a ransom that was not disclosed was paid by the family, despite instructions from the Governor of the West Region warning parents of the children against that.

TCR gathered that in order to be sure that the two sisters were doing well health wise, Morgan and Ornelle aged 13 and 15 respectively, were taken to the Bafoussam regional hospital where they underwent thorough medical examinations.

We learnt that there are no traces of perpetrators of the abduction of the two teenage sisters.

Recall that during the thievery that also led to the abduction of the two girls, the abductors carted away huge sums of money, telephones, laptops, as well as a vehicle.
