Kumbo: Fire Kills Man Attempting to Chase Out His Wife

A man whose name TCR was unable to get at press time, has been killed by a fire at his home in a neighbourhood known as “junction” in Kumbo, Bui division of the Northwest region.

According to sources close to the story, the tragedy hit the man while he was attempting to chase his wife out of their home. In order to achieve his fetish plan, the man resorted to burning their home. He then poured some fuel in and around the house and then struck a stick of match to set fire on it. Sparks from the struck stick of match then lit the remainder of the fuel that he had clutched under his armpit and it exploded seriously, leading to a big inferno that also engulfed him.

He was rushed to hospital by some people of goodwill but he died in hospital shortly after arriving there. Meanwhile, no other person of that household was affected by the fire that was caused by the deceased. But, the house too was badly burnt.

The fact that the man decided to set his house on fire just because he wanted to send his wife out of their home still remained a serious puzzle to many.

At press time, the man’s funeral program had yet to be announced.
